A few trips to Disneyland ago, I found myself fascinated by the masks that were on display throughout New Orleans Square.  The different shapes of the masks, the colors, the flowers and feathers and lace and everything else they were decorated with.  They were BEAUTIFUL.  So, I took pictures of them.  Lots of pictures.  I thank Carrie and Richard, the two friends I went with, for putting up with me.

Yesterday my friend Carrie and I were supposed to meet with our friend Richard to put the finishing touches on the Disneyland Extreme Close Ups Scavenger Hunt.  But, when Richard called to say that he was feeling a bit under the weather, well, Carrie and I suddenly found ourselves with a day off and nothing to do.  So, keeping with the Disney theme, we figured we'd spend the day in the Park.  I grabbed Ray and she brought along her Mad Hatter pook-a-looz and we set off to have ourselves a bit of fun!

Mondays are street sweeping day in my neighborhood, and that means my car needs to be off the street by 11am.  Some days I go over to visit with my aunt, others I simply go shopping, this last Monday, I decided I wanted to go to Disneyland.  And I wanted to go on an adventure.  Well, I got my things together and headed off.  Little did I realize that I had a stowaway in my bag, in the form of Ray, our favorite firefly from The Princess and the Frog.  Having discovered myself with company, I thought what an adventure it would be to take Ray with my in the Park, and try to find Tiana.

So that's what I did.

I've neglected this poor journal, and decided that it's time for a little reworking and getting things up and running over here. Originally I intended on just posting icons and whatever graphics I made over here (which, the ones posted in the past are pretty bad, I'll admit, but I've gotten a little better, heh, but it's all in good fun so yeay), and now I'm adding some more images to the list in the form of images I've scanned from my collection of books and magazines, and throw in some pictures I've taken from the different places I've been (which means a lot of Disneyland, lol).

Anyway, to get things started I'm posting some images from Disney's The Princess and the Frog. I was a little evil and got the pictures from the official website (from the Art of page), but they are so gorgeous I couldn't stand not having them, and wanted to go ahead and share them with you all. And I apologize for the few images that have part of the PatF logo, I did my best to crop it out, but there were a few pictures that could not be cropped.

Thanks to wonders that are computer issues, I've had a hard time getting to some of the last graphics I made uploaded. It'll be a while before I get back to making things on a regular basis and get things posted, but I thought I'd at least bring an "I'm Sorry" gift in the form of some more animated and non-animated love bars. Hopefully this will bide me some time before things get back to normal, lol.

After a very long process of organizing, and resizing, and tweaking colors (making the dull a little more coloreful), I think I am ready to start uploading my Disneyland pictures.  And, as a nice little beginning/preview, I come with my Princess photos!  Now, I saw preview, because these will most likely be reposted when I start posting my collection via land, but that won't be for a while.  And, these are not of just the face characters, but items from around the Park relating to them or their movie.

Anyway, these are pictures I've taken over the last few years.  There aren't as many as I would like, only because I wasn't as interested in taking the pictures as I am now, so beware, there will be many more additions to come in time.

Haha, it's been a while since I've poked my head around here. I've been making things like crazy lately, but have just been too lazy to update and post. For shame, I know. Though, it's got me to thinking that I should put myself on some sort of schedule for updates and whatnot. Hm...maybe I'll try to figure something out.

A favorite little series of mine is the My Side of the Story series.  They caught my attention while I was a Cast Member at Disneyland (seeing them in a few of the shops I used to work in), and there were many times that I could be found flipping through the pages when I should have been helping guests, lol.  Sadly, I only have two books from the series, but they are of my favorite of the Princesses, Ariel and Aurora.  Here are images from the Sleeping Beauty version.

My personal journal has been home to many posts of pictures from the various Little Mermaid books I have collected over the years.  Well, it's time to move those posts over here.  Feel free to friend my graphics journal for any updates of Little Mermaid or Disney picture related entires.

Anyway, I was cleaning my room the other day and stumbled across some of my old Disney books from when I was little.  Many are dated from the late 80's-early 90's, and were either birthday or Christmas gifts to either myself or my younger sister.  I went ahead and got copies of the images from two of the books, The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast.  Since there are so many images, I have split the entried into two (one for each movie).  And following post will be of another Princess book I have, one of the My Side of the Story.

My last trip to the Park had me taking fewer pictures than usual, but I decided to do something with them.  I took two pictures of the Halloween decorations in front of the Pioneer shop in Frontierland, along with a few shots of Haunted Mansion Holiday in New Orleans Square.
